New Threads of Hope
New Threads of Hope is a nonprofit organization that offers hope for a better life to people living on the margins. Through their Forest County Potawatomi Clothing Closet, they provide new clothes such as sweatshirts, outerwear, footwear, and pants to the general community and Native American organizations such as: Spotted Eagle, Indian Council of the Elderly, Menominee Family Tribal Services, First Nation Studies, Potawatomi Tribal Family Services, Southeastern Oneida Tribal Services, and HIR Wellness Institute.
The support of the Forest County Potawatomi Foundation has allowed New Threads of Hope to extend a true circle of giving across communities. Through the Forest County Potawatomi Clothing Closet, individuals and families connected to the Foundation’s partner programs can access brand-new clothing with dignity — adding another layer of support to the services they already receive. Together, New Threads and the Forest County Potawatomi Foundation provided the clothing to bring multiple tribal programs into one shared space to receive essential items and build connections and deliver warm winter clothing to Northern Wisconsin during the coldest months. We are grateful to partner in strengthening communities and creating opportunity for those who need it most.
