In continuation of honoring Native American Heritage Month, the next two Forest County Potawatomi (FCP) leaders that are recognized by the FCP Cultural Preservation Division (CPD) and Potawatomi Traveling Times (PTT) are Charles Kisheck and John Shawano.
When approving the 2020-21 holiday schedule, one culturally significant change was made.

On Dec. 19, 2020, the Forest County Potawatomi (FCP) Recreation Department in collaboration with FCP Education, CHOICES, and Community Advocacy devised a new way for the tribal children to see Santa this year and receive a gift from him.

Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, was an historic day for the Forest County Potawatomi (FCP). This date marked the election of only the second ever Chief Judge to serve in FCP’s Tribal Court.

On Friday, August 14, 2020, Bodwéwadmi Ktëgan (Potawatomi Farm), officially welcomed two new residents of the four-legged kind all the way from Yellowstone National Park. This exciting acquisition was made possible by the Intertribal Buffalo Council (ITBC).

Good morning. If I seem a little giddy today, it’s because I’m very happy. Things are continuing to move in a positive direction. And each week, we are receiving more good news.
FCP Executive Council is pleased to offer an update on various construction projects by way of a brief film created by FCP Media. Those projects include: Rising Sun Daycare expansion, the Caring Place expansion, the new Carter C-store, and the new Community Center.
Forest County Potawatomi (FCP) Chairman Ned Daniels Jr., proudly announced during the June 10, 2020 Facebook live session that the new Carter C-store would hold its soft opening the very next morning.
