Ancestral Women: The Performance Project

3rd Annual Swine, Dine & Dash 2019

The third annual Swine, Dine & Dash took place on Sept. 22, 2019, out at the Bodwéwadmi Ktëgan in Blackwell, Wis. The weather wasn’t perfect with scattered showers and clouds, but it clearly didn’t matter to the crowd of people who showed up to enjoy the day.

26th Annual Meno Keno Ma Gē Wen

The 26th Annual Forest County Potawatomi (FCP) Meno Keno Ma Ge Wen Powwow was held the weekend of Aug. 16-18, 2019. An extra day was added this year to make this powwow even more energetic and inclusive!

Wiigwaasi jiimaan Launched

July 24, 2019, was a day of historyin- the-making as the Wiigwaasi jiimaan (birch bark canoe) was able to float away in the waters of Devil’s Lake on the Forest County Potawatomi (FCP) reservation.
