Speech Therapy

At the Forest County Potawatomi Health & Wellness Center,  we have a licensed Speech Language Pathologist, aka Speech Therapist, who identifies, evaluates, and treats a wide range of speech, language, and swallowing disorders such as stuttering, articulation, language, aphasia, voice disorders, cognitive disorders, and swallowing disorders. People with communication disorders are young, old, and in-between. Their problems may have existed from birth or resulted from an illness, accident, or disease.  Our speech pathologist works closely with the physician, patient, and family with the goal of improving skills not developed or re-establishing a patient’s prior functional level.
