N.E.W. Directions

The N.E.W. Directions Program is an outreach/education/prevention/intervention program that provides services in a culturally relevant manner to Native American youth and their families residing on the Forest County Potawatomi Stone Lake/Carter/Blackwell Reservation and surrounding area.

Programming, in part, consists of hands-on outreach services, and provides factual/clear and positive messages. Educational opportunities occur as a result of appropriate mentoring and role modeling examples. The intent is to influence choices and decision-making that support healthy life skills for the Potawatomi Community and its youth.
