Massage Therapy Brochure
Physical and Speech Therapy services are available five days/week for pediatric through adults. Massage Therapy is offered on Tuesdays. Physiatry and chronic pain services are available as well.

Chris Skaggs, Supervisor/Speech Pathologist	Chris Skaggs, Supervisor, Speech Pathologist Professional & Personal Background Chris Skaggs grew up in a small town about half the size of Crandon, WI, in central Illinois called Wenona. He has completed internships at Howard Young Medical center in Woodruff, WI, and at Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign, IL. Chris had also worked in a skilled nursing facility for a year and a half. He currently treats patients birth through the elderly. He has been certified to conduct Hanen Center Programs, which assist parents to facilitate language skills for their 0-3-year-old children. Education and Licenses  • Eastern Illinois University, Master of Science Degree in Speech Pathology, 1998  • Certification: Clinical Competency, 1999  • Licenses: Wisconsin Professional Memberships • American Speech Hearing Association
Fred Mathwig, Physical Therapist	Fred Mathwig, Physical Therapist Professional & Personal Background Fred Mathwig has over 28 years of practice as a physical therapist and has treated patients with a variety of conditions, both young and old. He has a special interest in orthopedic conditions of the musculoskeletal system and spine. Fred is married and has 2 sons, Nathan & Michael. His interests are hunting and fishing. Karen White, Massage Therapist	Karen White, RN, Massage Therapist Professional & Personal Background Karen White has been married for over 35 years and is the mother of 2 daughters and a grandmother. She is an RN of many years — 25 years Emergency Nurse, 2 years as a Home Health Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, ENcare educator, and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner. Karen is a Massage Therapist in her own business — Healing Touch by Karen in Rhinelander. She’s been at the FCP Health & Wellness Center since March 2002. Karen loves to camp, ski and play with her grandchildren. Rhonda Pearson, Physical Therapist	Professional & Personal Background Rhonda Pearson has treated patients in short-term inpatient, outpatient, geriatrics, aquatic therapy and school-based pediatric settings. Her professional interests include: osteopathic medicine, manual therapy methods and orthopedic conditions of the spine and musculoskeletal system. Rhonda enjoys year-round silent sports and travel. She is married and has a daughter and a son.
