The optometry department offers eye exams with an emphasis on education regarding eye health and vision. We strive to provide informed eyewear options to optimize your visual performance at work or play. Visit our dispensary to select frames for your prescription eyewear purchase. On display you will find a variety of fashion styles (including designer), as well as sport, sunglasses or safety.  Our staff averages 25 years in the profession.

Bill Pierre, O.D. Professional & Personal Background Dr. Bill Pierre has worked in tribal clinics since 1986. He has practiced in Wisconsin, Arizona and Micronesia. He and his wife, Diane, have four children: Sam, Aaron, Becca and Isaac. They enjoy biking, hiking, kayaking and travel. Education and Licenses  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from University of Wyoming-Laramie, 1978  • Doctor of Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry, 1982 Professional Memberships  • IHS Deputy Chief Clinical Consultant for Optometry  • American Optometric Association  • Wisconsin Optometric Association  • Serves on IHS Eyecare Coordination Committee
