Mark Bognar, Dentist Professional & Personal Background Mark Bognar grew up in New Berlin, WI. He is married and has 3 children. Mark served as a dentist in the U.S. Navy for 4 years and was in private practice for 2 years prior to joining the Indian Health Services in 1993. Since 1993, he has worked at the White Earth Health Center in White Earth, MN, and the Cass Lake Indian Hospital in Cass Lake, MN. Education and Licenses  • University of Minnesota, Bachelor of Science, 1987  • University of Minnesota, Doctor of Dental Surgery, 1987  • License to Practice Dentistry through state of Wisconsin Professional Memberships  • American Dental Association  • Commissioned Officers Association
Kirk Ritchie—Supervisor, Dentist Professional & Personal Background Kirk Ritchie is a Forest County Potawatomi tribal member who enjoys hunting, hiking and fishing. He is married and has 2 children. Kirk joined the staff at the FCP Health & Wellness Center in August 2001. Previously, he had worked for the Red Lake Band of Chippewa from 1988 - 1992, the Oneida Tribe of Indians of WI, from 1992 - 2000, and the Yakama Tribe of WA, from 2000 - 2001. He completed internships in Barrow, AL, and in Tuxtla, Mexico. Barb Buetler, Dentist Professional & Personal Background Barb Beutler is from the Chicago area. After graduating dental school, she had 3 boys. Her last job before moving here was working as a general dentist in the Department of Oral Surgery for the University of Texas & Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Education and Licenses  • University of Chicago, Bachelor of Arts, Degree Major in Biology, 1976  • University of Illinois College of  Dentistry, DDS Degree, 1980  • Residency in Oral Pathology, University of Chicago, 1980-1982 • Wisconsin Dental License
