Our department handles the finance, accounting, and purchasing functions for the entire Tribal Government. Doing this involves planning for the year, receiving money, ordering materials and supplies, paying bills, processing payroll, paying per capita payments, budgeting, and reconciling accounts. When doing this we need to make sure that all rules, regulations, and policies are being followed, which is checked after each fiscal year by an independent auditing firm to insure all of the department’s work is done properly.
