Applying for Funding and the Grant Process
Formal proposals can be submitted using our on-line application process by 501C(3) non-profit organizations (as determined by the IRS).
Eligible Criteria:
In the Selection process, the following factors will be used, but not limited to, when considering the approval of grants.
- Understands the mission and focus of the FCP Foundation
- Ability to accomplish stated proposal
- Leadership
- Board of Directors profile
- History & reputation of organization
- Financial stability
- Quality of performance
- Ability to leverage other funds
- Harmony with the environment
Program Areas Considered:
- Arts & Culture
- Civic & Community
- Economic Development
- Educational (such as: after school programs)
- Elderly
- Environmental
- Health & Human Services
- Native American Affairs
- Veterans
- Youth Development
The FCP Foundation does not fund:
- Individual or political causes/candidates/campaigns
- General operating or capital projects/expenses
- Churches or religious organizations (unless it is a program that benefits the community)
Grant Submission Deadlines:
- March 22
- June 22
- September 22
- December 22
Proposals should be submitted at least 5 months prior to events or the beginning of programs and or projects.
