MISSION STATEMENT:
To provide quality health care services and health promotion/disease prevention services to American Indian and Alaskan Natives within their communities.

Typical duties CHRs perform are:
• Visiting clients in the home to provide health education, monitoring health and referring people in need of care
• Explaining available health programs and services
• Organizing and participation in community health promotion and desease prevention events
• Educating people of the health hazards of behaviors such as alcohol use, cigarette smoking, poor eating habits and poor hygiene
• Providing transportation to health facilities for those in need if FCP Transportation Department is unable to transport
